EXPO-SCÈNE Update

Over the past decade, EXPO-SCÈNE has become a cornerstone event for Canada’s entertainment and live performance technology sector. Created by CITT/ICTS, the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology, the show has grown into a national and increasingly international meeting point where innovation, expertise and collaboration come together each year.

This momentum reached new heights in 2025 with a record-breaking edition that welcomed a sold-out show floor of more than 80 exhibitors and a growing number of visitors from the United States. Building on this success, preparations for EXPO-SCÈNE 2026 are now well underway, with the organizing team working diligently to deliver an even more ambitious and inspiring event.

“EXPO-SCÈNE has become much more than a trade show. It is a strategic gathering for our industry and a catalyst for ideas, connections and professional growth,” says Jacquie Lazar, Executive Director of CITT/ICTS. “Our team is fully engaged in preparing the 2026 edition, and we are developing new content, new partnerships and new experiences that will bring even greater value to our community.”

EXPO-SCÈNE serves a wide range of markets, including theatre, concerts and touring productions, as well as houses of worship, broadcast and recording studios, museums and institutional or corporate venues. The show offers direct access to leading manufacturers, distributors and integrators, and showcases complete solutions in professional audio, lighting, video, stage technologies, AV and multimedia, rigging, systems integration, intercom, wireless networks, health and safety, and more.

Professional development remains at the heart of the EXPO-SCÈNE experience. In addition to the exhibition floor, the event features immersive demo rooms, TEC Talks and pre-show training sessions. These activities allow participants to discover new technologies in a real-world setting while gaining practical insights from industry experts on current tools, trends and best practices.

Looking ahead to 2026, attendees can expect several new exhibitors, expanded training opportunities and the development of new partnerships that will lead to additional activities and experiences alongside the main trade show. The goal is clear: to offer an even richer, more dynamic and more valuable experience for all participants.

Hosted at the Palais des congrès de Montréal in the heart of Montréal’s International District (Quartier international), EXPO-SCÈNE also offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy one of Canada’s most vibrant cultural destinations, just steps away from the exhibition halls.

Whether the objective is to discover new technologies, advance professional skills or strengthen business relationships, EXPO-SCÈNE 2026 will once again position itself as the essential meeting place for Canada’s entertainment technology industry.

Visitor registration is now open and is free of charge, except for pre-show training.
